got buts and bolt loose how do i knock strut out?

i got the bottom bolt out and the 3 top nuts out but i cant budge the strut out. What do you suggest?

I just hammered on the top hat til it dropped. Lots of corrosion and crud was packed in there.

Did you disconnect the upper ball joint?

is the bottom of the strut out of the lower control arm or still sitting in the place it was bolted ? I took mine out using the no spring compressor method, found the link using the search function. I had to disconnect the hub from the lower control arm and push it down to release the pressure, but this was using lift struts. I never took out the 3 bolts on top just the center bolt and it just dropped out.

Mine took heat and air hammer to top mount in order to knock it loose, really not that much rust in between but man were them things in there!

mine just slid right out when i pried down the LCA... you could use a winch or ratchet strap to pull it?

Bring it to me, be out in 25 minutes. no spring compressor, just like stated above.

Have someone stand on the brake rotor assuming you didn't disconnect the LBJ. Then hit it with a hammer, hard, if that doesn't work then get stronger friend to do it for you.
