Got Hit and Run... Help needed.

ya scotty, this was the first place i went to look this morning but wasnt too sure bout how the whole pricing thing worked. So this is wat i have found listed in the catalog and im wondering, does that mean i pay the $38 price?

Part Number: TY4R29D5
Description: Bumper End, rear rh (96-02) Base/SR5 Model, Painted with fender flares
Shop Price: $28.75
List Price: $37.38
Replaces Part Number: 52106-35901

So tom im gonna take the body panel off and try to pop out the dent and rework it first before i buy a replacement part.... my gf's dad has alot of prior experience on how to do this so i think were gonna try this since it might work out and save me some money.

you can try united auto parts to, its just a mile from certifit but they usually stock a lot more parts then certifit. I went to certifit a couple days ago to buy a grille header panel and headlights for an 07 f250 and the only thing they had that i needed was one headlight. Drove down to united and picked everthing up at one time.

On a second note that sucks ace, i would be livid if someone did this to me, i havent had any bad luck at vista but a buddy of mine got his truck keyed while he was in class one day there. ****in low lifes

So i called Certifit in hopes they had the part i needed and well the guy said they were out of stock. I asked if i could order the part or if one was gonna be in soon and the guy told me i had to just call every week to see if they had one or not... Is this how this company works? if so then i plan to pay the extra $20 and buy it on Ebay to ensure that i get it soon instead of who knows when. I really want this part fixed bc it is bugging me badly. I also took of the bumper piece and so now my 4runner looks really naked.

If anyone has the piece i need for sale for cheap ill buy it from u since i plan to get it painted anyways since the one on Ebay and Certifit are primed black.

Dude. That totally sucks. I would spend the time to look for the person. Would be worth it to me to have some sort of payback.

Hope you find them and/or find parts for cheap. I'll keep my eyes out for parts around here.

I just took my rear bumper off to build a custom rear bumper. I might have the parts you need. Send me a pm if you're interested.

Thanks,

sorry to hear what happened to you-I have that bumper piece from a former member on here-however it is cutout for exhaust to exit out that side piece.

It's yours at no cost if you want it. You would pay shipping of course.

The fender flare is going to be the biatch to replace as you are already hearing.

There's a newer 3rd gen sport/limited in a local junkyard here-stay in touch if you want me to get their price. It won't be cheap that is for sure.

Stay in touch via email if you like-I am under the impression the auto notify of a reply feature of the forum is out of order once again-I get nothing from T4R lately.

Yikes... 666 views! haha

So i couldnt wait any longer since im getting really annoyed every time i look at my truck so i went ahead and found this great deal on the bumper replacement part. It is only $30 and supposedly has the holes for the fender flares and well i figure if not then i could always just drill some myself if need be. So now i just need to find a fender flare and im set with parts and off to paint itll go!
