got LE 2 weeks ago..few questions

I have read this forum quite a bit prior to purchasing and since. I have read a few threads but couldn't locate some of the answers to my questiuons even using the search feature.
questions & comments.
1. Is there an additional rubber piece that can be purchased to replace the current one on the door jamb so the door is more soundproof and closes more tightly?
2. Is the "Limited" label on the side easily removable (i.e. heat up and peel off)?
3. The plastic piece below liftgate scratches too easily. Dog scratched it first time jumping into the back. Is there a way to make this resistant to scratching.
4. Waiting for the weathertec flooormats. i visited their office; they said the 2011 versions should be available in a few weeks.

5. The blacked out emblems look sick; wish i had skills to do that right.

Hahahaha....to the best of my knowledge there is NO interior or exterior difference between the 10' & 11's.....so the 10' floormats will fit perfectly into your 11'. Unless they are etching a custom '2011' into the mats they just fed you a line because they are behind on orders, just as they usually seem to be.

1. I don't think there is an additional rubber piece for the door. I do know that the doors sound better when closing them when all the windows and other doors are closed. Other then that the doors when slammed shut sound tinny. I'm planning on putting some sound deadening sheets on the door skins to make them sound heavier when shut and help block out some of the exterior road noise.

2. I do think the Limited emblem on the side pillar is removable just as you mentioned.

3. Your talking about the top of the bumper? the step if you will? I would maybe find some adhesive friction tape, like what they have on skateboards, that should give the dogs some traction and prevent scuffing.

5. If your not able to do the black emblems, I bet someone here would do them for you, probably charge you a little and for the supplies and all but usually everyone is quite helpful. I did the front Grill Piece on my Tacoma, wasn't hard, just sand it down, give it a few coats, and I think some people also apply a clear coat. Let it all dry and Viola.

Congrats man, and yeah... the emblems peel off very easily during the first year so just leave it out in the sun for a few hours to get warm enough and then use floss to get behind it and slowly work it off. The adhesive comes off really easily too with just a rag. A little bug and tar remover can help too if you got a lot left on the 4Runner but mine had such a small amount that I didn't need it.

If it doesn't get hot enough during the day, you can also use a hair dryer to warm it up a bit more and make it peel off easier.
