Got Mine Today

Just got back from San Diego with my Black 2000 Limited 4Runner!!!
A couple scratches here and there, nothing too bad though. Only thing is the A/C is stuck on, looks like I'm going to be lurking around here for some remedies. It's got 4x4 plus.....wait for it....... E Locker!



Will get pics up as soon as I can get a hold of a camera.



PS. My income tax return came today,it was a great day today!!!

Congrats man, let's see the pics!! You can pry the A/C switch out of the dash with a knife really easily on mine. It might just be that thing.

I have a 2000 limited as well and had similar problems with my A/C (the digital climate control is a notorious problem). I took out the climate control system, took it apart, sprayed it with CRC electronic cleaner. It kind of worked; I can control the whole thing but only after my rig had been running for ~20mins... it's weird, but better than having no control at all!
Time to spend your return on mods = )

If you can't pry the switch up, try the self diagnosis...Good luck!!

Thanks for the quick replies everyone the only pics I have of the new rig is from auto trader. I'll try to attach them. it was 250,000km on it, yes, it was from British Columbia! The digital temp is in celcius too. :fro: The guys I bought it off were really cool and easy to deal with (Thanks to Jimmy and Nick from Panda Garage).


I got it for $10,400. The only rust on it is under the driver side headlight, it's just light surface rust nothing a little scrubbing and paint could remedy. I have been trolling around this site for about a month now, and I have to say the trucks on here were my inspiration. With that said, my first mods I plan will be to repaint the center caps, silver paint is peeling off pretty bad, repaint the roof rack (maybe some plasti-dip suggestions??), and new tires, I'm looking for something beefier (spelling?) on stock height but would also look nice with a lift suggestions very very welcome.:roadkill:




I really look forward to wheeling and modding in the days to come, I know with guidance from members here I wont be steered wrong Cheers! :beer:

Pictures of My Runner in Holy Jim Yesterday

Went down with my buddy Dan to see how well my stock rig could flex and what obstacles it could overcome. Very pleased with the result.:hungry:

Scratched my driver side running board but other than that just a little mud on the paint. Nothing a little power wash couldn't fix.

I'm going again this Sunday 4/10/11 around 4-5:00pm if anyone's in the area

Yes it is clear. I haven't seen any before either. I was thinking about Plasti-dipping it but it is kind of unique...
