My logic said get a 2019 and save some $ (and put into some other mods), no desire for the safety stuff ... but jelly of the new head unit for sure.

That said, I sure don't understand why others seem so freaking obsessed w/ applying their logic to another individual's situation and purchasing decisions. Try putting your energy into something positive, may improve your overall (currently cranky-ass) disposition.

Good pick up. I wouldof kept both of them and picked a different color on the 2020. LOL Take turns driving each color. :)
 
Here is my decision.
Trading my White 17Pro in 12,200 miles on it. Getting almost what I paid for it.
Big difference in upgrades!!
Fox suspension nothing against Bilsteins!!
Sunroof
JBL system better than the one in mine.
TRD exhaust
Apple car play with the bigger screen.
Army green
Also like it just the way it is. No mods done to mine.
 
Haters are always going to hate...I have learned not to let them bother me...it is what it is. I don't feel like I have to explain my decision..if it makes me happy...I am going to do it!

I think you did ok on the deal. 41k trade is effective 44k private party due to the tax exempt portion of the 41k trade value. 51k on the new trd is a bit high but different markets dictate different prices. i had to drive nearly 4 hours to get my pro in 2017.
 
It's amazing how people get upset about things that don't effect them in anyway.

Anyways, great truck, I am jealous of your new infortainment system. I wish I had held off an year before purchasing mine.

He stops his truck, gets his feet all muddy and takes 10 minutes trying to hack at this ****ing stick with a cold steel machete so he doesn't get a faint scratch on his precious bro-dozer that clearly isn't used off-road.

For me, I think a lot of the mods I see on trucks are kind of in the same vein. Just a disgustingly useless over consumption of goods to "look cool". It something similar to sagging pants around your ass with a broad view of the chosen underwear. Looks cool to some, yet totally useless. Yes, I am aware I am a curmudgeon. Ultimately... to each their own.
