I think I did ok.what do you think?
Got 41K for my 2018, the MSRP on 2020 was 51,045, and the dealer took 2K off the sticker price.
Depending on where you live it is hard to find any dealer discounting a Pro. I will be getting my army green at msrp where most dealers will be marking this color up.

Don't be a kook. Nothing wrong with having a sweet ride that you are proud of.
I felt like it was a fair deal. Most of the dealers are not willing to take anything then the MSRP. They gave me a fair offer on my trade also.

Sorry, I am a kook. My truck is basically stock looking, but debadged and super clean. I personally can't stand stickers and "hey look at me" modifications like giant roof baskets that the owner never uses. I was at DFW airport a few months back and saw a TRD PRO driver hit his roof basket on the hanging pipe that shows vertical clearance. He got out and was obsessing over an infinitesimal scratch on the top of the rack that no one will ever see.
I also had a buddy with a beast of an FX4 F250 lifted on huge wheels. We took a trail to shoot some guns on some backwoods property. Well.. a small stick was hanging in the trail from a tree.. I drive right through and MAYBE picked up a trail stripe, but honestly I never found a scratch. He stops his truck, gets his feet all muddy and takes 10 minutes trying to hack at this ****ing stick with a cold steel machete so he doesn't get a faint scratch on his precious bro-dozer that clearly isn't used off-road.
For me, I think a lot of the mods I see on trucks are kind of in the same vein. Just a disgustingly useless over consumption of goods to "look cool". It something similar to sagging pants around your ass with a broad view of the chosen underwear. Looks cool to some, yet totally useless. Yes, I am aware I am a curmudgeon. Ultimately... to each their own.

So it cost you $8k.... for $2 you could have bought the OEM PLUS sound upgrade. But hey, you do you.... I don’t get when people do shit like this, trading for basically the same car.
Congrats! Its your money and you have every right to spend it how you want. From 2018 you got sunroof, new stereo with carplay with larger updated screen, JBL sound, auto climate, push button start, fox suspension. I think for $8000 it's a great deal. Also you got to drive it for two years. I really dont get why people try to tell you how to spend your money. I would like push button start and new audio with larger screen too. Cant wait for more reviews.
You did good man. Here in Los Angeles I was quoted $10K markup over MSRP on a Pro. Funny thing is, there are plenty of people out here in LA who will pay that too...I just won't be one of them.
