Unless it was actually USED for plowing. That really trashes a suspension. And our trucks just aren't built for it.

When I was young (like 18-19) I worked for a county highway department. Our guys (or gorillas) would ram into snow drifts to bust them up. It worked, but also busted up the plows, mounts, and dump truck frames. I'd be really shy of any truck with a plow on it. It might have been used as a high-speed bulldozer.
But it does look a little strange - a nice 4Runner when you'd expect a good-old-boy Chevy 4X4.

I don't have one for my 4runner, but there are a few older 4x4 Toyotas up here on the mountain with snow plows. One that I know of is an '85 pickup with a Chevy 350 conversion. I'v seen a built 2nd gen with a plow driving around up here before too.
I agree with the Durk, snowplows do trash the suspension and other things like the steering and even the engine/drivetrain. If I was gonna plow, I would look for a 70s/80s/90s full size 4x4 like an old Chevy 1500 or a Bronco. I would love to have a late 70's Dodge Ramcharger for a plow truck, or an International Scout or 1 ton pickup. Those would be my top picks, but it would have to have a big V8 whatever it is.
I would probably never buy a mid-sized truck that has had plow on it. That would be a big risk IMO.
