Got my Definity Dakota M/T"s 265/75/16 today. Buy 3 get 1 free. I put these tires through a good all around evaluation today. I went offroading and rock climbing, then took a 200 miles road trip for work.
They felt very stange at first. My handling was way different. I had a 25 mph cross wind and had to 2 hand the wheel way more than usual. This corrected itself once I got to the offroad trial. Don't know why. They do ride a little rougher, but man they are quiet! They do rob some horse power, and the trans shifts down out of OD and even into second on overpasses.
As far as offroading, they are good. They will dig you into a hole quickly on steep grades, though. I did take some hills I couldn't take in my A/T's. Rock grip is superior. No problems. I will be needing to get the rear locker for those grades. I can't wait until it rains for a proper mud test!
