got new wheels and front end shakes

so I am new here I own a 97 4runner limited and I purchased new rims for it. I had them installed on thursday and my front end shakes like the Tires are not balanced. So I brought it back to have it checked out on friday and they rebalanced them and they were good also did road force balance again good. Front end still shakes. Here is the weird part the rims are the same size and they are the tires I had on my stock rims. The off set is different. The shake starts around 45 and goes to 65 mph. The truck has 110000 miles and i don't know the Trucks history as i purchased it about two months ago. Help

What kind of rims did you buy?

New? Used?

When you say they were "good..." does that mean after they balanced the wheels there was no shudder?

The rims are new... They balance perfectly but the front end still shakes. I dont think that it needs and alignment but i guess it couldn't hurt

yes have alignment checked

The symptoms you describe are similar to when my driver's side tie rod end needed replaced.

When you have the alignment checked have the tech check the tie rods for excessive movement or "play".

Also you may want to experiment with your tire pressures to find a good setting for your new tires.

Some folks prefer slightly higher numbers while others of us feel that may cause excessive wear in the middle of the tread.

Tell us what the tires are and others may have had a similar situation....

have the shop re-balance them, but ask if they have a haweka adapter. 3rd gens are really finicky with balancing issue (mine was anyway) have a read here , cured my vibrations.

Turns out after three days in the shop i needed et lug nuts to keep the wheel straight on the hub and the rotors were warped so its all fixed thanks! will post some pics of the truck soon
