Got ripped off last night!

I go out to my truck this morning to find that someone has broken in, stolen my subwoofer and the faceplate to my CD player! What nerve! I hate living in this 3rd floor apartment and having to park on the street where there are 5 bars within walking distance. On top of the break-in last night, I had an attemted break-in about a month ago. I've also had 1 bumper ding and 2 rather large dents put into my truck since I moved here in October!

Pretty high crime for Johnson City, TN. This place sucks, I can't wait to get out of here!

Yeah that sucks majorly. Punk fools out there with no respect. You military? My cousin is stationed at some hospital out in TN...

I have had almost every vehicle I owned broken into, so I know how you feel. Sometimes life in the city really sucks!

The worst is when they broke the tailgate window on my older 4runner. That thing was EXPENSIVE, even from the junk yard. That was the last truck I put a nice aftermaket stereo in, now I just get the best OEM stereo and live with it (not that bad really) But even after that I had someone break my front window just to get to my gym bag, which only had dirty gym clothes in it. Now I try to leave nothing out to be seen.

ME? Military? HA HA Ha, they wouldn't want me. I way too far from disciplined!:D

Schooler, good looking dog. Mine looks just like yours except he is brindle and a boy. Weighs around 85 lbs. Moves like a cat :) but very very sweet. :D

I've been through Johnson City to visit ETSU's grad school and it's pretty trashy looking. While not a robbery, the worst luck I've ever heard about with vehicle incidents due to other people drunkeness/stupidness happened to my girlfriend. While she was at the College of Charleston, her car was sideswiped while she was sleeping and had to be repainted. One month later, her car parked two spots down the road from the original incident and again while she was sleeping it was slammed into by a drunk driver and totaled. To top things off, the driver was driving a big pickup and was able to limp it away from the accident and was never found. And everyone around said they didn't see anything. Bullshit! This happened in downtown Charleston at 3am on a Saturday night. Charleson's a big party town and I know someone was there and saw something. Whatever, that Hyundai sucked anyway...

I had my pickup raied one night: I was on the way home from work, stopped at the quickie-mart to grab a soda-pop and came out to find my cross box open. They snagged the bigger of the two toolboxes inside...luckily that was full of misc fasteners and junk parts. My tools were in the smaller one they left. Whew!

Another time I woke up to noise outside. I lived in a 2nd floor apt. Looked out to see someone trying to jack my Bronco! I knocked the screen out and hung out with my 12 guage yelling something about being willing to put holes in my truck to keep it mine. Never had a problem again there.

Hanging out the window waving a 12 guage....

Just some good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm,
Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born.

YEEEEEE-HAW!!!!!!

Time to invest in a decent alarm Schooler. Keep what's yours....yours.

Don't forget to file your police report with Boss Hogg and have Roscoe P. Coltrane and the rest of CSI Hazzard County follow up.

Good looking boy :D Looks like mine except for the color, Brindle with a little white on his chest. But my guy is starting to get a little grey on his beard :) he's around 8 years old.

Wow, that sucks big time. I know two people that have had their trucks broken into and had the subs taken right out of the back. I am praying that I'm not next.

Why didn't you remove the faceplate? That alone can help deter them from wanting to break into your truck. That's why it's removeable and I actually use that feature when mine's not garaged.

Best dogs in the world! Mine only has three legs. You can't tell from the picture though.

I've had these dogs for the last 30 years, I will NEVER be without one. A APBT missing a leg is a minor inconvenience. They are by far the GREATEST dog to walk the face of this earth.

As a snooty Vandy alum, I must admit even with our st*tty football team, at least we don't have crazy fahqs running around middle Tennessee breaking into cars... maybe in east Nashville but not on West End.

That's an awesome dog by the way... maybe you should leave it next to your truck so that people will stay away?
