Got stuck last night

So last night I did wat u can call urban offloading lol. Got stuck in some mud at the end of a cultisac, I ended up needing a friend to bring his f250 to come and tow me out wth some rope. But now after After a bit of driving it seems to be lugging/jerking if I go any faster than 60.... But anything under that she's just fine? Any help would be much apreciated, I won't be able to take it intonthe dealer until Tuesday

does it feel like its coming from the rear diff?

my guess is gonna be you f'd something up like the drive shaft
 
Clean all the mud off, then try driving again...usually works for me. If you've already done that, sorry, no idea.
 
I'd also keep an eye on the temp gauge just in case you got some mud sucked in the radiator. Make sure you clean out (power wash) BOTH sides of the radiator, not just the front that you can readily see! :hatsoff:

so there is the truck. it was really stuck, i had gone onto this dirt thinking it was hardpacked and the truck just sunk right in... I am really hoping that there is just come mud stuck somewhere or something, and that it is not anything major.

thats the exact same color as my TE.

driving through that kinda mud you'd probably want some better tires.


if theres a touchless car wash around your place that does undercarriage cleaning try taking it there. also spray the inside of the wheels clean and the wheel wells when you get the chance.


btw. you said a friend pulled u out with an f250. did you make sure that he pulled out your truck right? i.e. using a recover strap and appropriate points on the truck?
 
Oh ya man we used an tow rope and hooked it up to the rear hooks on my truck and pulled it out, I think my problem is probably mud stuck somewhere

I did the same in snow; except I had an audience as you can see in the background. At least you have washroom facilities!

Is that you standing talking on the phone?

From the picture I doubt it's anything more than just mud.

It's hard to tell from the picture: Was the mud up to the undercarriage?

Get those stock tires off. :p

the mud was kinda deep, and there were small rocks in the mud everywhere. thats the thing that bugs me the most because i kinda think a rock may be stuck somewhere underneith
 
a small rock stuck underneath would most likely not affect your vehicle at all. probably wouldnt even notice it beyond the rattle.


mud in the wheels tends to throw the balance off and affect driving. did you clean her out and try again?
 
So I just finished hosing the truck again, I no longer get the lugging when driving. But know when I put it into reverse, at certain times it sounds like there is metal scraping metal, not sure wat it could be.

Sorry my posts aren't helpful but I wanted to give feedback on the awesome photos. Those are great. It's stuck right up to the undercarriage and there's no way you could have got out without help. I got stuck in mud like that in a brand new Tahoe. Same thing; but I had to be winched out by a tow truck.
 
I am a little surprised you needed to be pulled out of that. I was stuck like that with my old 99' Durango, that nasty soft mud, right to the frame. Dropped it into 4L, put a couple piece of PT under my front tires and out she came without a problem. Did you have any boards with you? A couple boards and ATRAC might have save you too :) I will say when I 1st read the post I was thinking how much trouble could you have been in at the end of a paved road, but I will give you credit, you did manage to find it!
