dosnt matter, i still wouldnt have gotten up, plus its not worth trying to get up and tearing up the yard. (not like i already did)

i could have made it if i tried it a few times, but really 3 inches of rain is alot, and the hill is a good size, altho i have done it many times after storms, this is the 1st time i gave up

cut up some boxes

you need to make a trail of cardboard/gravel

anything to get between the mud on the tires and the mud on the ground.

easy for us to all say.

I am guessing it is steeper than the pics reveal

sorry I missed the group when you were out this way.

yes we got it out that night, we used the tow strap and my dad 03 limited fully loaded, with center lock on,

but anyways while he was pulling me out he slid down a little hill and got stuck, and i was still stuck at the time, but he managed to get out while going forward and reverse,

you should know the 03 limited tires are pure slicks, about 1/8 of tread on them, and i mean 1/8th inch!

i will take more pictures when the sun comes up tomorrow so you guys can see how big the hills are, and what mess we made! it was great!

also we had to avoid hitting trees because that would do damage to the 4runners!

ahah thats classic. glad it turned out alright though. Those pics really don't do that hill justice because it really looks (in the photo) that a 2wd could do it.

not with the 3 inches of rain and 6 inches of mud!

also we did get some rain since sunday so the ruts are not as deep as they were sunday night

maybe this might help in the mean time

6 inches of mud!

lets be honest 6 inches of mud might be a smidge of an exaggeration

when I had my toyo open countrys i had to put mine in 4wd to get up a grassy hill one time, it was pretty damned embarrassing

man.. the pictures dont tell at ALL how muddy it was that day, or how steep the hill was

sorry for no pic tonight, by the time i got home it was too dark
