Since I'm getting rid of my 1st gen 4runner, I'm taking the Tundra as my DD. I needed to get my wife another car. She is a hippie at heart and of course she wanted a volvo. I am cool with that, they're known for their safety and reliability. I ended up getting her a Volvo S80 T6. It's in great shape with just a tad under 130k. It's not perfect but for a 13 year old car I definitely cannot complain! I ended up getting it for right at 3k!

That is a great deal, $3,000 for any car that looks that drives is a good deal but Volvos are pretty nice.
It rides great. There are a couple small issues, the DSTC light is on and it's basically a traction control computer issue. I figured I may get lucky and find a bad ground. If not then I'll have to replace the DSTC module which from what I have heard is a few hundred bucks. I am very happy with how it rides and handles, you can really feel the twin turbos kick in. This little car has about 270hp so it's got a little bit of spunk when you mash on the gas pedal. It's front wheel drive so you can really feel the power in the steering wheel with the torque steer.
Thanks! I'm happy with the purchase. And if anything I think I bought it at a good enough price that I shouldn't have a hard time getting my money back out of it if I need to.

Very nice, SVD! I really started to like the Volvo's after they softened up the lines and got away from the old shoebox styling. 270 hp is more than a "little spunk" in something that size--don't be surprised if your wife does like that commercial and starts bringing home damaged groceries from joyriding (LOL). Great find for $3k!
