Grand Canyon trip

My parents and I decided it was time to get out of the heat of southern Arizona and head to the south rim of the Grand Canyon and to some sites around the Flagstaff area. All it a matter of two days. So my dad and myself could make it back to work.
I haven't been too this area in over ten years and boy do I miss it. Mid to low 80's during the day and low 50's at night compared to 100 degree plus weather of Yuma, Arizona.
Here are some of the photo's from the trip (first two of my baby) and the rest are just some scenery photo's with some chessy music takes to photobucket.

Enjoy:

I wouldn't let my parents drive my 4runner. Something about someone else driving my vehicle. I don't know. So I ended up driving like 20+ hours.
I'm a little tired now.

Total trip (does not include the last stretch of the trip from Gila Bend, Az to Yuma because I'm still on that tank):
Total miles driven: 815.7
Total gallons of gas used: 39.412 gallsons
Avg. mpg: around 21 mpg

Awesome pictures! I thought it would be a million degrees there. I'll have to put GC on my list of places to check out.

I went to Grand Canyon about a year and a half ago, it was freezing cold. GC is absolutely magnificent and is as spectacular as Yellowstone. Where are the photos from towards the end of your slideshow, the ones that look like it could've been from Utah or taken from the inside a mine maybe?

Here's my favorite pic from GC...
