greasing up u joint and slip yoke....

I believe there are 6 zirk fittings, 2 u joints for the front and one slip yoke and 2 u joints for the rear and 1 slip yoke. I am aware the the u-joints get grease until it comes out the sides, and that the slip yoke should not be overgreased. However, I can't find a difinitive pic on where each one is located so I don't mix them up?

I keep squirting until I see it move! haha cant wait to see how many signatures that goes in! Seriously though, I keep pumping the grease until the slip slightly gives, never heard an amount. Just what I have done.

Yes, bottom picture is slip yoke.

When I got my 4R with an unknown history, I first put 8 squeezes of the grease gun in both front and rear yokes. At that time there was no grease showing (i.e., exposed shaft was dry). 5,000 mi later the exposed shaft had grease showing, so I put in 2 squeezes. My impression is that these joints _very_ rarely fail due to lack of lubrication, so the goal is to avoid potential damage from overfilling with grease while providing adequate lubrication.
