Great Day!

This morning we found out that my fiance passed her state board test to become a Registered Nurse. This is incredible news as for the last two years I have been supporting her, my son, and myself working two jobs to get by. Neither of my jobs exactly pay well, so life hasn't been easy for us the past couple of years.

Only a couple hours after finding out she passed she got a call and scheduled an interview with one of the local hospitals here in town. We still have a long ways to go yet, but I'm praying she lands this job.

Just had to share the news since I'm crazy excited for her and us.

Just make sure you don't do like my wife does (she worked two jobs for 4 years while I lived the slacker student life) and remind her every chance you get that she owes you.

Every time she wants to buy something I can't say no or else I get the whole speech again. I wonder how long she'll be able to hold it over my head?

Congrats bud. She shouldn't have to hard of a time landing a well paying job. Especially with this nursing shortage. A lot of places here in TN are also offering some sweet sign on bonuses on top of the per hour wage.
