Great mpgs

I have been driving my moms 05sport with 50,000mi on it and i have been averaging 18-20s but i had to drive on the free way and got 28.6 with computer and miles/gal. here is the proof

All the numbers matched up so I dot think it's computer.

You can NOT go by the computer to get an accurate gas mileage reading...they are notoriously inaccurate.

The ONLY way to get a good reading when you fill the tank up...write down how many gallons you filled used. Then divide that number into the number of miles you've driven. And ONE tank full will just tell you how you got for that one tank. Since there are many many variables that can effect gas mileage...you need several tank fulls for accuracy.

I've seen a computer reading 25....but when I actually checked it when I filled up...it was a little over 17mpg.....Sorry to burst your bubble.

Just did the math and it was 24.6 still impressive in my opinion

Again....as I said..ONE tank full doesn't mean much....to many factors involved...Now if it keeps up over several tank fulls then that's impressive.

dont be fooled bro....its not accurate..thats only an average anyways...hand calc when you fill up

just did it by hand and got 24.6

My v8 would get that MPG on a rollback lol...19 is all i'm gettin with a K&N cai and a cat back exhaust and fresh plugs...17.6 before mods on summer blend fuel.
