New member here. Picked up my Silver TE back in November and love it. It doesnt have KDSS or navi, but where i live its not really a necessity. Not planning on getting too crazy with mods, but on tap are Spidertraxx spacers, Tires that are worth a damn, and after much deliberation, N-Fab step bars (dont need sliders around here).

After that, its probably going to come down to Wet Okole seat covers, a much needed stereo upgrade, and possibly HID headlights.

Looking forward to any tips/tricks and whatnot when the projects begin.

Welcome... and might I suggest your first mod be a new horn.

I see many people mention the horn. I honestly don't see what that big deal is with it. No its not a train horn, but its certainly not a 91 turcel horn either. haha oh well.

Thanks! Actually, i was considering the horn as well. Its a bit contrary to the image of the TE for certain. Thanks for the link, ill check it out.

Apparently the LEs and the TEs have dual horns, where the SR5 has a single horribly feeble horn. I'm embarassed to ever use it (which probably isn't a bad thing considering my occasional road rage )

I've had coworkers go out to lunch in my 4R and literally laugh out loud when they heard the thing. It's first on my mod list.

Horn upgrade complete, you dont need to mount on the center bracket There's plenty of room in the stock position. Just take two pairs of pliers and twist the original bracket, then bend the brackets that come with the new horns to make an offset.

Pretty easy install, and outside of the antenna, the cheapest upgrade ever.

Nope, the TE's had a single horn as well, at least mine did.
