Name's Raz. I've always wanted a 4Runner and I finally got one. Purchased as a Christmas gift for the wife, it's as much a gift for me as it is for her.

She really wanted a 2014 (for the body style) and in the end I found a 2015 to buy. We also really wanted a third row, I def wanted 4X4 and we both agreed we needed leather. Previous experience with cloth in our 05 Highlander was terrible. Got dirty and ugly so fast.

So finding something to meet all those requirements was actually a little harder than I thought.

I finally found a 4X4 frunner with third row. It had cloth, I decided to buy it and have Katzkin leather installed. It turned out amazing. Tinted the windows with Limo tint and surprised her with it a few days before Christmas. She was blown away.

So far that's all I've done to it. We took 2 trips already up north for some offroad snow fun and I really like this thing.

Luckily it's her car or I'd be commuting to work (100 miles a day) with it. LOL.

Next on the list is N-Fab Nerf bars, probably next month. Until then, here's a pic.

Great looking 4Runner!

There are a lot of us in the Phoenix area that go wheelin - me especially :) I have an 89 and an 06 4Runner. The 06 is generally just my daily driver, but I've taken it out a few times. The 89 is pretty tricked out and ready for anything.

If you ever want to hit some trails, please let me know!

Sweet, I figured there'd be a few guys in AZ. Anyway when I feel more comfortable wheeling this thing I'll be searching out the AZ crew.

Need to get used to the car and the idea of possibly scratching, damaging it first. Haha, I bought it brand new and wife wouldn't appreciate damage so early on.

This is also my first 4X4 vehicle. I've always been (and still am) a sports car guy. I'm on my third MR2 build now.

Nice truck Raz! I just got my Trail Edition a few weeks back so let me know if you ever want to go exploring some tame trails.. I'm sure anything we do would be pretty boring for lofreqjeff!

And, I'm with you on the sports car side of the house. Grew up watching my brother mod an Evo8 (tasetfully) and I myself have a Yamaha R6. Will never get rid of that speed adrenaline high. Do most people even remember the MR2 anymore? That having been said, it's nice having a nearly indestructible truck that can get you mostly anywhere when you need to. :thumb:
