Hello everyone.
i have recently acquired a 2000 toyota 4runner that is in extremely good shape, I don't have any pictures of it at the moment, but i will get some soon. Anyhow, a quick run down on me; I'm 18 and live on an acreage with my folks and as luck will have it, have quite a few vehicles. Luckily, I'm also a rookie mechanic that is learning as an apprentice and hopefully next year will go to SAIT for my automotive ticket, and engineering ticket.
And now, back to the cars. I've always been into cars, i bought my first vehicle when I was 12 for a hundred bucks. An old 88 ford F-150 custom with the I6(I think) after that when i was 15 I bought a 84 AMC Eagle station wagon to fix up for when i got my license when i turned 16. That started me on an AMC obsession that i still have now. Since those two this is the list of vehicles i've owned from then till present;
-81 AMC Eagle SX/4
-83 AMC Eagle wagon
-77 Ford F-350
-94 Oldsmobile Cutlass ciera
-94 Jeep grand Cherokee
-88 Mazda RX-7
-96 chevy S10 4X4
-79 Lincoln continental
-97 plymouth venture
-81 Chevy camaro
-98 Pontiac grand am
I only own the camaro, olds mobile, F350, 84 eagle wagon, 81 eagle SX/4, S10, RX-7, and the 4runner now though, the rest have either gone to the scrap yard, or been sold. However, all of these, except obviously the 4runner, the oldsmobile and the SX/4 are project cars that i got for next to nothing.
Anyways, I'm real big into fixing it yourself, although with the list of cars I've owned and driven, fixing it yourself all the time can be a bit tedious. Hence, the 4runner, which I also got off my dad for a real good price when he upgraded to the 2010 4runner.
I just realized this is a real long post, sorry if I rambled. That's the story though, and I hope to be in here asking lots of technical question about my Toyota.
