Good Afternoon, my name is brian. I just became a member to this forum. Just saying hey.

I just recently purchased a 2002 4runner sport edition.
Completely stock.
50,000 miles!
Ive been on the market for the later 3rd gen for a while, and stumbled upon this jewel. I had to hop on it.
1 owner and ridiculously clean. Old couple owned it and barely drove it.
Ive got alot of plans for this 4runner and am looking forward to speaking with many of you as ive looked around at many of the builds on this forum.

Beautiful find! I saw one like that for sale when I was looking, low mileage, elderly man selling it and it was immaculate inside. Hope it treats you well!

Your truck is good as brand new. Want to disclose how much you spend on it?

Before you do anything please check with us. Don't buy aftermarket parts from local stores. Always try Camelbacktoyota in Arizona. those guys got very low prices for parts and very helpful.

Just make sure to get fresh oil into front and rear differentials and to transfer case, May be new radiator because anything more than 10 years old can have a corroded transmission cooler line inside the radiator bottom tank (pink milkshake).

Get all factory parts and your truck will run 20 years without any major issues.
 
Wow, That's a hell of a score. Mind me asking what you paid?

Welcome to the site, remember to start off with maintenance! Even low mileage trucks are ready for a lot of replacement parts just by the age alone.

When i was on the market i was willing to spend a pretty penny on a 4runner in this condition. I spent 10k and i believe it is well worth it.

Thanks for the info! This isnt my first build, it is my first 4runner though. I come from hondas and toyotas. Im excited for this build! The radiator was replaced before i purchased it. The timing cover has a sticker for timing belt replacment, and it says it was replaced around 38,000 miles. Seems early. But the. Again im new to these motors.

Well it was done because of time. Toyota recommends every 8 years or 90k miles on the timing belt.

I would say 10k is well worth it! very clean looking truck. how do the front seats look?

The front seats are almost new. No rips/stains/or burns. Its starting to have a few wrinkles in the thy bolsters. But they are really clean
 
Nice find but your username is a tease....was expecting to read you also own a Supra or other 2Jz powered vehicle :ohwell:

Ha. Nothing 2j powered. Had a 94 cressida that i planned on swapping but never got to do it. Ended up selling the car to a buddy. But thanks!
