Howdy all.

I just purchased my first 4Runner last Sunday . I must say that I have been nothing but impressed with the vehicle so far. Truth be told, I was up in the mountains not an hour after I purchased it getting her all muddy (would've taken pics, but only had a cell, and no flash) For the last few days I've been perusing the boards, and finally decided I needed to join.

I've been on a few Subaru boards, and Fiero boards (the USMB is great) but I notice that on this forum, there doesn't seem to be as much off-topic posting, flaming, etc. going on here. This is very refreshing! I'm thinking my first mod might be a T4R.org sticker....

Anyway, take care everyone. I'll make sure to post some pics the next time I'm up in the mountains!

Welcome! I'm on the other end of the lake, impatiently waiting for my T4R to arrive.

New 4Runner

Hello
My wife and I also live in WA., north of Seattle. We are in the process of buying a new 4Runner. Do you mind me asking which dealership you bought from and if you were pleased. We have visited 2 so far one in Everett and the other in Mt. Vernon. We did not care for Everett. We plan on using the Costco Program. What are the must haves on your rig. We are looking @ the Limited w/ Navi. and no third row.
Thanks
L. Rose

I am from everett, and recently bought 2 4runners. I went to every toyota dealership in this area. You said you weren't impressed with Everett, are you talking about Rodland? I personally had a very good expierence at Rodland, that is where I got my 2007. I had a very low pressure salesman that I worked with for weeks (his name is Jason).

I had a bad expierence with Micheal's Toyota in Bellevue. They offered me a deal while I was walking out the door, and when I called them the next day they "didn't know what I was talking about". Also all their certified vehicals had issues that should have been corrected(things like the fan rubbing the shroud makeing horrendous noise).

I bought my 2000 from Auto Drive Center in Woodenville. They always have alot of 4runners. But all of there inventory comes from dealer auctions so be careful with them, you don't always know what you are getting. There staff is good and low pressure. They move alot of volume so they don't do much negotiating.

All the other dealerships just didn't have anything I was interested in. 4Runners are a hot commodity in this area, they are either really expensive or gone in a day.

Watch out for Russians selling rebuilt titles on CL lol.

Hope this helps some!
