Grey wire mod on a 2000 limited

Can the mod be done on the 4runners just like the trucks....the wiring harness looks a lot different than the trucks and I was not sure on what wire to ground and if it could be done to these runners.....any help please is awesome...thanks

Yes it can be done on the 4Runners but it'll be a blue/red wire not gray.

I have a 2000 Limited with the push button RR Lock; will this mod work for me? It's going to be my first mod but it looks pretty easy. Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes this mod will work for any 3rd. gen 4runner with the rear diff lock.
