Grill Gaurd Questions 2003 SR5

I am ready to buy:
Westin Grille Guard - Sportsman 1 Piece Series - Black Powder Coat Stainless Steel & WAAG Tail Light Guard - Black.

Questions on the Westin Grill Guard.
1. Will I have to move my hood wind deflector?
2. Will it cause wind noise?
3. Will it use more gas?

I notice that the Westin has the extra bar on the top of the guard supporting the headlight wraps. I think that it will be stronger than the WAAG or Mantik? I think that it may be noisey & I'll have to remove my hood wind deflector because of the extra bar?

Any advice would be exceptional!!!

Grill Guard Has saved me twice already

I live where deer are over populated & drive home at night at dusk. So my changes of hitting a tick carrier is pretty good. After my first deer kill and an autobody bill of $5K, I had the sportsman grill guard by Westin installed. Since I got the grill guard I have hit two deer and killed one. The last one bent my guard and I am getting it bent back. But if I did not have that westin rack I would of been in the auto body shop for a third time. Good to have.

Get One

I did end up buying a Westin grill guard. Already this has saved me twice. Hit a deer & killed another. I didn't have to move my hood deflector. Gas seems to be the same. It shakes a little bit sometimes but it doesn't cause the truck to shake at higher speeds. I recommend having one especially if you live in an area with lots of deer. It also makes you kind of feel like a bad ass.:whip2:
