The one-piece are stronger and they don't seem to vibrate as much. Plus I think they look better because you don't have as many bolts sticking out, especially if they rust.
I love the look of the Jaos which is why I bought it, but if there is one thing I do not like it is the bolts that show on the side, but I can live with it
