Just bought a 05 6 cyl. 4wd SR5 anyone have a suggestion on what make of grille guard I should purchase. and if the bug deflectors actually work on the 4runner.

Try doing a search on grille guards, there are a bunch of threads already. Also, do some looking around in the gallery. If you find photos of one you like, try sending a PM to the member- most of us here are happy to help.
Second, welcome to the boards. It is nice to have another CT member here- I am always looking for people to go off-roading with in the area! PM me if you are interested, or if you have any interest in my grille guard.

PS- My bug guard seems to help, but I think they are primarily for looks.
