Heeeyyyy all...... How and where do you buy the grilles like this?? i want one but i dont know were to look lol.... i wanna make my runner look almost just like this one... except instead of having the brush guard over the headlights n all, i just want a Bullgaurd at the bottom! Thanks!

I don't know guy's, I would'nt be to quick to judge. It's not your typical offRoad setup but I'd take it. It's tastefully done with what appears to be quality parts and accessories. Check with t4r vendor Burtman Industries for the grille. I think that maybe one of his rides.

thats foshizzy's old runner, he's got a pretty wicked 4th gen now, but some people like the bling others like the off road stuff while even some just like mall crawlin.

The grill i bealive is called a billet grill you can get them from burtmen industries, i think even ebay even has them and people are always trying to ditch the dubs im sure you can find some in your local classifiteds. good luck with your build man!

Ha ha.... yeah everybody has different opinons on the runner style.... Honestly im going for the clean kinda look... not too ghetto or gansta lol... but also i havent really been offroading yet lol.... i guess there is alot of places up where i live (the catoctin mountains in Thurmont MD) but i dont really know where to go around here.... anyways i want some tires like these and perhaps these kindof rims....




i would like these rims aswell... plus theyre pretty cheap.... i dunno.... i was thinkin the billet grille would make it look cleaner, but then again i wanna plasti dip the emblem on the grille.... i dunno i know alotta people on here are offroaders, but i dunno.... heres some pics from my FB .... thx for all the responses guys!

Billet can get pricey.....as for the bling....do what ever pleases you man! We have to remember that not everybody wants to drag the bottom of their rigs over big bolders and drive through mud. I personally like light trail running, and am by no means a hardcore wheeler.

As much fun as it is to do that hardcore stuff, I can't afford to break stuff, and replace it all the time. HA HA HA! Besides, I'm too OCD to start scratching and denting my rig in the bush!

Whatever you decide, I'll be happy to see it! I like a little of everybody's setups, and really appreciate all the work all of the guys here put into their trucks! :hatsoff:

This isn't a "hardcore" offroading forum but it isn't an Escalade forum either. That first pic of that 4Runner is hideous and looks like it was purposely modded to be an "Urban" gangsta rig.

It was.....I believe he called it...or his 4th Gen the Urban Runner......Nothing wrong with being different man.

Just think about it for a minute:

He could remove all the front bling, put some Stock 5 stars or LC rims, put on an ARB, remove the running boards and add some sliders, throw on a roof rack......and what do you have......the same stuff everybody else on the forum has.

There's nothing wrong with the setup I just described, but a huge pourcentage of the forum members are running this stuff. Why not do something different with a 4Runner??? I personally am not a fan of big wheels with low profile tires, but the owner was, and put alot of money into that rig.

Let us remember one thing: "Opinions are like buttholes....everybody has one". It's great to have an opinion, but let's try to be a little less rude about giving our opinion out.

The owner of that truck is obviously not taking it to go Rock crawling, or flying through mud.....that stuff is not for everyone.

I have now stepped down off my soap box....let the flaming begin! :uzi:

I don't care if that kid put chandeliers on his hood, that truck is dreadful. If I were to rig up my ride like that I hope people would have the balls to say so -highly unlikely though because I wouldn't spend hard earned money to purposely "Ghetto Rig" a 4Runner like that. So go ahead and hang some dingo balls from your roof and put some monkey fur on your dash and please post pics of it, I could use a good laugh!
