grinding noise when turning

ive had this problem for a while now and when i turn the wheel the whole way it will sometimes grind...maybe more likely on uneven pavement. took it to the dealership and they tried to tell me its the noise the power steering stopper makes but im not an idiot! Im convinced its a cv joint or something...boots are good. anyone else have this?

It's the steering stop(s) when you're at full lock. Put a dab of grease on the stops and you'll be fine. See this thread.
