So a couple of weeks ago, I started getting a rubbing/grinding sound from the front of the car when I took left turns. It has gotten a bit worse, and after some looking around I noticed that about a half inch away from the outside of my front right brake rotor, there's a gouge that I am almost certain the grinding sound is responsible for.
I have been so busy in the past few weeks I haven't had time to actually look into it-- I should have time to soon, but I just wanted to put this out in case anyone else has had a similar problem or thinks they could save me some time. The brake pads should be fine, so I'm wondering whether the dust cover got bent or some rock or bolt managed to get lodged in there.
