Has anyone dealt with grounding/otherwise modifying the stock antenna location for Nestor's Firestik? I chose to skip the splitter and eliminate AM/FM from the equation altogether, which seems to be what's different on my setup than others. I got an adapter online to go from the stock antenna connector to the CB plug, but the SWR is really bad - my understanding is that's caused by a poor ground? Has anyone unearthed the mount to add a ground strap, or is there a different approach I should be taking?
