UPDATE:
Not a feeler anymore. Its going to happen BUT looks like [MENTION=98468]BigNuge[/MENTION] has to do his own thread for a new Hampshire group buy
i do not want to push josh to make a deadline while trying to keep his sanity (brother does have a family, full time job and a life besides making racks for us!!)
So here is the deal....
*I need to see who is interested in a rack coming to Philadelphia PA
*I will host a install meet @ my shop in Philadelphia on a Sunday
*I will take us on a leisurely drive past the Historic Rocky steps, then thru center city to have a famous Philly cheesesteak @ Pats/Geno's corner in south philadelphia
*I will take everyone to go play in the mud afterwards in the Pine Barrens in South NJ
What we need to know is who is in?
We will need to have a deadline for this group buy, Looking at keep it open till Dec 1st.
I will update this list on all interested parties.
Josh has set pricing for his standard rack @ 10% off for holiday sale.
Shipping discount will be applied to everyone once we get a final tally of how many racks.
Probably looking to get these guys installed sometime in early february around presidents day to take advantage of the holiday monday day off for lots of folks.

Ok, this is what i was thinking planning whatever you want to call it!
I really dont know how much interest there is for a group buy on one of Josh's awesome roof rack aka Whitson Metalworks!
I was kicking this idea around.
-Group Buy, one big order on his racks.
-Shipped to my shop here in Philadelphia PA
-When the racks get here, i can send the rack over to my body shop across the street and get them painted
-We can meet @ my shop. Install them as a group. My shop can fit 3 vehicles with the gate closed at a time.we should be able to knock out a few cars in the morning)
-Get them installed, then do a cheesesteak run to the famous Pat's and Geno's in south philly for lunch
-Then shoot over to Pine Barrens and finish off the afternoon.(about 1hours drive away)
Time line: Open this group buy till thanksgiving. Send Josh the order by early dec. hopefully get the order in by late january/early february and have a meet around presidents day weekend. This way we can try and take advantage of the holiday monday for the ones that are traveling further.
If we get at least 4 people we can save $50 per rack. I know its not much BUT its a start and its something we can work on.
