Group BUY on Outdoorlogic 3rd Gen Front Bumper

Nice looking bumper, but I rarely see the swing out hinge on the left side of the vehicle. Must have been a customer request.

Not sure if it was customer request or not but I have seen a few others put their swing out on the left.

Only 5 1/2 days left to get in on the first group buy of this bumper.

I should be able to get pictures loaded tomorrow night of this bumper on a Limited. Baja Bound is meeting Jimmy for a test fitting to see if any adjustments need to be made and will take pictures at that time. Also there are two changes from my original bumper to the ones in production. 1) recovery points moved lower to be more in line with the frame rails. 2) Sides were shortened by one inch in length{moved forward} to allow fitment of larger tires.

Went to Outdoor Logic today so they could test fit the bumper to a truck with limited flares. For the people signed up with limiteds just imagine the bumper filled out to the flare. Its going to look great.

I've decided to add a 1" body lift so they will have to compensate for that as well. Hopefully I can get that done this weekend...with some help from my friends of course :nerd:

I was actually really leaning for a black bumper, but after seeing Pikemans again and next to my truck. I've decided to do MC hammertone. Cant touch this

yeah might need to kick the angle of that outside plate to match the flares a bit better, the arb matches closer then that. dammit! lol

Yes he is bringing the side out to match the flares. Mine (the prototype) is on the regular SR5 package and kicks out a little from that but as you can see not enough for the Limited flares. He is also still debating on how to compensate for the BL. the first thought is to add a trim piece along the top of the bumper to fill the gap. This will be the easiest and knowing Jimmy he would find a good looking way to do it. The next option would be a lot more difficult and that would be to completely redesign the mounting system.

lookin' good guys, i saw in smallfry's build up thread that the shrockworks bumper had this bracket built in to make up for the BL take a look.

i think they added this block to the end frame here.

then the bracket gets put on like so.... see the front of the bracket has 3 different adjustments.

and ofcourse the end results

jimmy doesnt have to copy the design or nothing these are just ideas.

Mine actually had a similar style plate on the front of the frame that they cut off to mesh with the way the bumper mounts up.

On the other hand, not sure how its going to look with a trim piece up top? I think regardless of filling that space its going to look odd when you're looking at it. I like the bumper sitting right up under there like you would expect it to sit. Just my .02

Ok just spoke with Jimmy and he says that it will not be a trim piece. It will mount the same way as my bumper (single welded structure) and not by brackets.

that's koo, best to weld if you want to use your winch and have some strong support. cant wait

Hawaii shipping for this group buy only we can make a deal to ship to the Big Island of Hawaii for the same as the lower 48 states of $150.
