Group BUY on Outdoorlogic 3rd Gen Front Bumper

I had hoped I'd be able to get my bumper installed yesterday. Jimmey called me first thing in the morning to notify me that the PC place wasn't open due to MLK holiday. I really appreciate Jimmy's communication. We've arranged for end of the day Thursday. I, too, will take pics of the install process and post 'em up.

I was wondering what lights you guys were planning on using with the bumper? I was thinking of the PIAA 510 unless someone has found something better. I'm picking mine up tomorrow and will get pics up when I can.

The 510's are a good choice. I know someone was looking at doing the new Hello LZR series 4" LED's. I plan on running the 510's myself.

The 4" LEDs are what i'm doing. i ordered them and had them shipped straight to outdoor logic. they arrived today, i'll post a pic of them when it's finished.

Well this thread didn't have much hope for me in the beginning due to pricing but now at these prices, I wish I had gone with this bumper vs. the ARB which I already paid for ($724 with shipping to Fredricksburg, VA.) I'm having my ARB customized and putting recessed fogs in the front.. somehow.. I will have 6 front facing lights!! rawr.:naughty:

Anyways, cool looking design shown here. Too bad the cost of the powder coating isn't thrown into the price (that PC place should be giving out a major discount rate on this job haha..)

The PC is at a discounted price. Powder coating an entire front bumper is a lot of time and material, after looking around it is a good price. With the mods you are doing to the ARB you probably could have just bought this bumper.

speaking of powdercoating I would pay extra for Jimmys friend to do it but want to try to match the silver trim on my Limited. Any chance he will do a custom color instead of black or gunmetal. The quote I got for custom was $160 for powdercoating.

I actually scrapped the idea of putting holes in my brand new bumper.. for now..

Well I got my bumper on today and it looks sick. The powder coating looks darker on my 4runner than on Pikeman's because of my darker paint. I will get some pictures up tomorrow.

Looks just as sweet as the first one. What impresses me is the how true it is to the original design. You probably couldn't tell the two apart in person. To me, that ability to replicate with such precision is mark of a skilled (or very professionally tooled) fabricator. The fitment is perfect too, the lines are very clean.
