Group Buy - Strona Bull Bar for Gen4 (T&H Low Bull Bar)

I would be interested in one if we can get it for $150 shipped or lower. I have been waiting for this for quite some time. Everyone seems to love to back their vehicles up ON my bumper. Just any FYI though, I have been in contact with these same people as noted in the previous thread and they were "supposed" to be in mid February and they obviously still are not. We may be waiting awhile... but I think for the price they are worth the wait. I am assuming this will fit a 2005 just as well as a 2003? If X6Runner got his for $140 off of Ebay we should definately be able to get them well below this. Probably $150 including shipping.

IMO, this is the best looking bar for the 4Runner. I wanted to get the bar back in January when they were selling them on eBay. However, my truck was on order and I haven't taken delivery yet. The price was $155 including shipping and that's a steal compared to what the T&H one went for. I believe the T&H was $350+.
I believe the seller is a small store. He told me their ordering is based on what sells well based on previous sales history. I work with logistics at my job. So my understanding based on the seller's explanation is high sales number products take priority over lower number products and each shipment they're only able to receive 'x' number of items, thus a high volume item will be the entire order leaving our 4R bullbars out. This is why there's further delays in the seller getting the bars in stock. He probably hasn't order the bullbars in yet because it he thinks it might sit awhile before they sell--dead inventory.
I'm just glad there's another manufacturer of the T&H Low Bull and there's actually hope of getting it. Hopefully with the 15+ members that are willing get the Strona, the seller will actually order the item in.
The bullbar should fit your '03 without any problems, as it was designed for the '03-05 and even fits the '06.

Thanks for the info Uneek. I can't wait for them to come in as like I said before, I have been waiting forever. This is one of the last things I want to get to upgrade my 05 Runner. Now to buy that Homelink for the truck...

I am definitely interested. I just call Car-Mic and they stated may be 2 months before these are in. They only place an order once they get 400-600 pieces to order. One guy gives me a price of 300 and the first guy gives me a price of 170 and some change. Place sounds a little suspect??

I don't think they are suspect at all. I actually dealt with them on a set of running boards that I bought online and they were nothing but A rated sellers. For some reason the running board brackets wouldn't fit and they gave me a prompt refund and even told me to keep them and try and put them on with my own brackets if I could modify them and get them to fit. Now thats customer service!

Was promised a call back today also but still have not heard from anyone to clear up the difference in price I was told 30 minutes apart. A big 200 dollar difference.

Like I said earlier, I was in contact with them through EBay almost 4 months ago and they were supposed to be in February. As much of a deal this is going to be, I don't see it going through as they are obviously having a problem getting them in. We should probably try to find someone else that sells them and go there or just forget the whole thing because we could be waiting who knows how much longer. By the way, TruckDepot on EBay has nothing for sale at the moment so thats out.
scott78945 - I dont' know but they told me they had like around 50 bars on order and suppose to come in. Now after hearing from you, I don't have too much hope on this GB anymore. Lets hope we can find someone else.

There is one bar i see on ebay for l$219 shipped from TX but it doesn't look nearly as good as the strona one.

I believe their name under Ebay is "intrigued". Try looking them up on Ebay. I could be wrong but I believe this is the same people. They were great to deal with but they just never got items in stock. If they are the same, which I believe they are, don't hold your breath...

Personally, the T&H low bull and this Strona bull bar are the only two I would go for, I like they way they look. I don't like the other one linked from eBay, it doesn't flow with the lines as well as the T&H and the Strona.
I'm willing to wait, otherwise, I won't install anything up front.
