I've seen once orginal (made by Toyota) oil filter next to the one made by FRAME at some dealer and both of them where opened to show inserts...... I didn't know there was that much difference between those two..... However since I've got my 4R I always use orginal oil filters..

I think TRD04RUNNER is following up on a thread from last year where we were looking at the benefits of different filter part #'s depending on the internal filter media. This looks no different than a common pleated filter instead of the new media used in the filter that came on the truck from the factory. Which is better? That's up for debate.
