My Mom just traded a 2008 470 for a 2014 460, just all stock.
It feels smaller but I don't know looking at it next to my T4R.
I like it better, 460 feels more like a 4runner, the 470 felt like a Landcruiser to me.
I like the 4.6L V8, nice motor, the car is really quiet.
Also like the handling, goes thought the corners flat.

Just want to say hi. I have a ‘10 GX460 that probably won’t see any major mods for a long while.
I drive a ‘96 4runner for a couple years and then a pathfinder. I’m also on CL forum and glad to see some familiar names here too.

WOW, thats awesome it fits there. I'm really surprised, I didn't think you could fit one in the GX engine bay.

Congratulations on the purchase! CL isn't much of a mod site for these things but I'll keep an eye out for you and good luck on any mods.
Thanks! I really like the truck. I have an Odyssey for long road trips but will sneak in a few trip with the GX for sure.

315 tires
For those that want to go bigger. I installed a set of KO2 315/70/17 C rated.
I had to chop body mount and push the front liner as far it goes. The caster is at 4degree. I had to install 2" blocks in the back to limit up travel at full compression.
As of now the KO's is touching the A arm at full turn. I have a set of Yokohama 315 also and they dont touch at full turn. The Yoko are not as wide as the Ko but are E rated and they where not very nice on my spine. I dont do any off road beside gravel roads

Been a while since I’ve posted here.
I became the second owner of this stock 2004 about six hours ago.
I don't have any immediate plans for mods, since it will be a daily driver, but I am hoping to take some road trips to places as beautiful and inspiring as some of those in the photos above. Mountains are a bit more exciting to drive through than the prairie!

what tire size do you have? looks very nice. I love the wheel to tire ratio!
What kind of tires are those?
I am looking for a more aggressive tire to begin basic off-roading, since I currently have straight street Michelin's on mine.

They are Goodyear Duratracs 255/75/17 sitting on 2017 4Runner rims. These rims offer less offset than original rims so it sits a little wider and fills the wheel well better.
And these tires are excellent for off-road use.
