GX470 height?

I know from looking online that the height of the vehicle is 74.6 inches. Does anyone know if this includes the roof rails or is that for the body only?

Hi merrion13, The roof rails are included in that measurement. The 74.6 in. is the measurement with the height control in the highest position.

Question about GX470 height

Hi,

I measured one without rails and it came out to 73" in height. Approx 6ft 1" in height.

I'm thinking of buying an 04 model. The only potential issue is that the underground parking to my building has a max limit of 6ft 2". Now this is fine coming through the garage opening, but then there is a ramp where the although the clearance measures at 74 inches (6ft 2"), I'm a little worried about the ramp to landing angle...and will the 6ft 1" GX actually fit through?

If not can one drive the GX in "Low" height setting? I read somewhere that that setting is only operational when the vehicle is stationary and cannot be engaged while driving. Any help is much appreciated!

The vehicle can drive in any height setting, but it will revert back to normal after surpassing 15mph I believe.
