I've been buying my tires from Sam's because they are good guys for fast warranty replacements, tire repair, and rotation/balance. Sam's here offer the BFG AT KO & GY Wrangler SilentArmor off the shelf.
I've seen some comments about the GY SilentArmor tires here. However, I think there has been confusion regarding the different models which GY has the SilentArmor name. There is the Goodyear Fortera SilentArmor which one person seems to have put on their 4Runner with mixed results. Then there is the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor which GY offers in three load ratings for off-road use.
It seems to me that the Fortera version is for the mall going SUV drivers, and the Wrangler version is for the off-road drivers.
Anyone here have the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires on their 4Runner?
