bought this set and two days after i installed it my buddy gave me his 6000k kit. so i was going to try and return the kit but they wont take it back once it has been installed. so im keeping my buddys 6000k kit. so if your interested just make an offer. brand new its 279.95 plus shipping.

This kit is for a projector setup correct. I have a 2003 so I won't get the results you have recieved right?

no you will get great results. i have a 1999 4runner limited 4x4 and they work great, much better then any halogen bulb will ever be.

its all plug and play no splicing at all. it took me a little longer to install just becuase i was very anal about hiding all the wires. and since it is a bi xenon kit it has a couple of extra harnesses so that you will get an hid low and high beam. very well put together kit.

So i'm just wondering how highs/lows work with HID's..... I mean, if they are both 4300k aren't they going to be the same thing?

How is one brighter than the other? I don't understand....

the low beam and the high beam come on at the same time, shinning the beam high and low. thats the best way i can describe it. lots of kits use two bulbs. the low is and hid bulb and the high is a halogen. this kit uses and special bulb that uses and hid bulb for both high and low. and yes they do get brighter and shine higher when the high beams are being used.
