Had a problem with the rain guards..

So I had a set of AVS rain guards and I went to take em off. I got em off but the previous owner mustve done the same thing because the triangle part of the mirror assembly was totally messed up and so was so of the trim on the doors. My question is, can I repaint those little triangles with the same paint that they use on the rest of the car, or is it different and I need to buy a new mirror assembly?

Would Toyota use two totally different kinds of paint on a mass produced vehicle such as a 4runner? I dont think so

Take a ride to your dealer and ask them the exact same question and tell me how they react.

Just unbolt the mirror and plasti-dip it, you have a black 4runner so just go for it, or you could keep searching for that special mirror paint I've heard everyone talking about

I want to revive this, but for a different reason. The tape from the rainguards discolored the trim. What product is used to get that back to life?
