Had it for a month

Got my 99' Limited a little over a month ago and absolutely love it so far. I have put about 700 miles on it and it only has 69k. My only gripe is I think my gas guage is messed up. I will be at 3/4 of a tank after about 30 miles. I drove with my gas light on for 2 days and it only had 230 miles on that tank. When I filled up it only held 13 gallons, what's up with that? It's pretty much all city driving, I haven't put the gas pedal to the floor since I bought it (no need to). I have some BFG A/T's on the way with some silver bullet hole rims. The rims are not my favorite but it is a package deal that is too good to pass up. If I decide I don't like them i'll just put them on the stock rims. The tires are 265/75/16.

Congrats on the new Runner! The gas gauge issue is pretty normal. These trucks are known for having very inaccurate gas gauges. Mine sometimes drops to 3/4 tank quickly, but then stays around there for another 100 miles.

I have a 99 with the same issue. I reset my trip every time I fill up because of it. Count on 250 miles per tank. There are many threads on this forum about fixing this, although I have not tried them.
