So I finally had a free day to tackle installing the Tundra/LC coil lift I've had sitting around.
Finished the backs no prob. Didn't need to unbolt a thing and even salvaged the old shocks.
Fronts are a different story.
Every single one of my top plate bolts were seized and after heat/pretty much a full can of liquid wrench I went to the sawzall and got one side off. I've got the breaker bar in there but because the stud are only pressure fit, once it gets to a certain point they just spin. I've cut off the front two studs now but the back one seems to be impossible.
Only thing I can think of is picking up an air chisel tomorrow.
Any ideas or recommendations?
What about reassembly? I've got one put back together with the Tundra stuff/Runner top hats ready to go in.
