I have em in a 305/70-16. So far been excellent all-around. They are noisy compared to the an AT type, but I was prepared for that. They handle well on the road and they are exceptional off road. they seem to be wearing pretty fast, but I offroad more than the average person so its hard to tell if they are a soft compound or if I'm just hard on tires. I have some major chunking happening and 2 severe sidewall cuts but no leaks. These are good tires.

I was actualy looking at these tires, one of my friends works at tire warehouse, I can get them at cost soo.. these tires are a pretty good deal even without that discount, ill be getting them in the 285/75/16 within the next 2 weeks

Goes to show that the words excellent and good have different meanings to different folks. Others are using terms like affordable and good deal. Yeah, sounds like an excellent value tire for the money! Then again, you get what you pay for. Personally I would save my money and buy better.

:iagree:
Basing on the exact position, I decided to add $100 and buy GoodYear Wrangler MT/Rs again. I had good experience with them so far.

I had MTr's before and they did the same thing but they were impossible to balance as they got older and they were almost 150 bux more expensive per tire. The Hankooks are alot better in rain/snow and are really nice in the rocks. At 18 psi they are just as good as the MTr's just not as trendy. Tread chunking and sidewall cuts will kill lesser tires.

Alex are you serious that 285/70/17 is almost 300 a tire? my 285/75/16s are like 198 on tirerack.com.

300 a tire and id go for some interco SSRs

Yep, 290Cdn per tire. Alltires I looked are at this price range. Interco is even more.

oh forgot they were CDN currency for ya. Not sure what that translates into US $ but, my goodyear mtrs have got me out of some sticky shiz,

Im in atlanta now but on the way I here I got ran off the road by a tractor trailer truck and ended up doing 75 in the grass medium.. bent my steering a bit but I had spare parts and fixed it. MTRS and my VSC saved my a$$ literally

happy huntin on the tires man..
