Either a Accord, Camry or 4Runner???:duh:
Wow that is quite a difference in vehicles. I know Consumer Reports has tested both the 4 & V6 Camry and Accords in the last few months. As I can re-call they gave the Accord a slight edge. If your really serious about a 4Runner, I heard that Consumer Reports August issue has a write up on the 4Runner. I really like Consumer Reports, I don't always agree with them, but I respect them.
By the way, I heard they "Recommended" the 4Runner in the August issue, so all three vehicles your are looking at are "Recommended" by Consumer Reports.

as far as my choice in accords, camry, or 4runner, hey, i'm woman....we're indecisive. i need to change things around here...spice things up.
if i do get a sedan, it will propably be an accord. i favor it over the camry. camrys are reliable and good cars but they are turtles....so slow.....very little performance.

no i did not take the plunge and buy, but i did test drive all the cars/suvs that i was interested. here are my reviews:
camry- nice and quiet buy pretty dull and slow
accord- more sporty and faster than the camry, however not as quiet and smooth of a ride as the camry.
4runner- nice, it does feel good to be behind the wheels of a 4runner. i have never owned a suv, so it did seem a little bumpy at times...very rugged but classy. i like the way the 4runner looks too.
honda crv-compared to the 4runner, it didn't seem as bumpy a ride as the 4runner. however, i don't really like the way the honda crv looks. it doesn't look as classy...material looks cheaper. it looks like it was built for a teenager or a college student.
so, i have narrowed by choices down to the the honda accord or the 4runner....again, 2 very different vehicles.
