Happy New Year!

2006 is almost over. One of the year's high points for me was searching for a new vehicle for 3 months, and getting my new 4Runner 2 weeks ago.

This thread is asking you, what are gonna do with your 4Runner in 2007?
And I mean. trips or off-roading you have planned, mods and improvements you plan to do, etc.
What I'm talking about is New Years's resolutions and plans for your 4Runner in 2007.

My plans are: first, get a good coat of wax on it, second, continue to learn its abilities on ice and snow with the Dunlops, third, see how Thor performs on summer roads, after 'break-up', fourth, take Thor off-road in May or June and see how he does on Alaskan 'pioneer roads'.

What are your plans/resolutions for 2007?

I hope to head to Northern Wisconsin with the 4R and do some trail riding. I really need to get away for a while and what better way than in a 4x4 4R.

Also to either start driving my Mustang Cobra or sell it. Not sure which.

I am thinking about a long distance tow to Kalamazoo, Michigan (1400 miles round trip) in July with my 4Runner.

I just bought one of these King Camper trailers. I pick it up at the end of January. I plan to haul it in to the most remote places I can find in Mexico, Arizona, NM, & Co.

As soon as the blackout period ends, Christmas to New Year's, for my season lift pass (and when it's not in effect--MLK and President's day weekends), right back to the sierra for more snowboarding.

Snowboarding and using the 4Runner to get to the snow is best way to get away from work. Gotta love this truck.

For December '06 I just clayed and waxed my 4runner and added some HID's (Denso Ballasts and Phillips 9006 d2r bulbs)

For 2007 my plans include:

-Using my extended warranty to replace a frozen caliper.
-Load up the Kayak on the 4runner for some kayak fishing.
-Load up the Mountain bike and ride some local trails
-Get a permit to go off-roading on the beach for some surf fishing on Democrat Point (striped bass)

I can't wait for the '08 striped bass season, cause world record has an excellent chance of falling.
