hi there,
this is my first time here and i hope find some advise for my need.
have a 2004 4runner sr5, 140k, and few months ago i recognized hard knocking from all four wheels when i go over a street that has a kind of washboard surface. it sound something is hitting somewhere, but is on all four site. less or more depends which side the bumps i go over are harder.
so i changed the all swaybars, what cost around $750. the shocks look ok, cause when i push the car's body there is no up and down movement for more then two times.
My guess is, that some rubber bushings are wore out. But don't have any idea. even so the guy from the local shop i saked.
someone here who can give me some ideas to look for.
