Hard Start This Morning (Updated--Bumped)
Just want to make sure this is normal, or at least to be expected sometimes. If it's not OK, I'd like some advice on where my problem may be.
This morning when I went to start the Runner when I engaged the ignition it just kind of didn't do anything, then it kind of did the eh eh eh, eh eh eh, eh eh eh with no sign of turning over. I flicked the key back, tried again, and it did the eh eh eh again for a few times, made a weak sounding turn over, and then kind of started, although everything sounded really groggy, like it was half started, and then in about ten seconds it sounded relatively healthy. Once things were warmed up it was back to its old self.
I'll go over as many details as possible just so everything is known. Excuse the point form.
1) It was parked for two days.
2) Wet and windy weather. VERY wet and windy.
3) Around the freezing point, but not too cold.
4) Parked outside in full wind.
5) I never leave anything on--heated seats, wipers, radio--nothing.
6) Battery seems newer, although I don't know when it was replaced.
7) Even on really cold mornings it kind of chugs a few times and then roars to life.
Thanks in advance. Soggy but drying Maritimer.
