Hard start warm

Cold start perfect. Go into a store for a few minutes and restart...stumbles and sounds like running on 3 cylinders then kicks in and black smoke out of the tailpipe. no codes. Any suggestions? Injectors? 97 sr5 268k

sounds like leaking injector.

after a hot shutdown crank motor over just a couple times, pull plugs you should be able to see which one is wet.

Had this exact problem. It was a leaking injector.

Looking on ebay, are refurbished Denso ok?
