Hi, i have a 96 with a v6. I removed and replaced the contacts in my starter after many occurrences of it stopping turning over until one day it became stuck engaged.
Ever since i re did the starter, i have to crank the engine over for many seconds before it will start and it seems to be getting worse and worse to the point i am afraid it just wont start one day. Once it does start it starts instantly without lagging and runs decent. Starting seems to be unfazed by temp or pushing on the accelerator.
I changed the spark plugs but i dont think it is related to general tune up because of the relation to repairing the starter. I have searched many of the threads, but none of them have this correlation. any thoughts? thanks for any help!
