Harder shift into 1st and 2nd after tightening throt cable?

I noticed since i did the throttle cable tightening and greasing up the shifts are a bit harder than normal and faster? Less drawn out than they used to be. Is this normal?

My truck idles perfect at about 500 rpms at idle , so i didnt do it to much. I do have much better throttle response though.

Any ideas? Or am i just feeling the way my truck is actually supposed to shift?

One of the three cables is the transmission kickdown just back off on the screw a little bit don't put it so tight and it will go back to normal mine did the same thing

Just finished adjusting the transmission kickdown cable and now my T4R is shifting real smooth. I thought my tranny was starting to give out.

Hey guys. Just wondering if anybody has had trouble ever since adjusting the 3 cables which are the throttle, kickdown, and cruise control. I gave some slack due to quick shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and it shifts smoother now. I've got this jerking feeling when switching from park to reverse and drive. I did not have this problem before I adjusted the cables. It feels like its hurting the transmission.

You beat me to it. Also, only make minute changes to your throttle body.
